I lost my DSL the day after I had put up my Halloween Squidoodles lens. My DSL account was closed without warning. That's right. No disconnection notice in the mail. Nothing.
So I have be contending with my AOL dial up account that I'm glad I kept all these years. So until I can get DSL again, I won't be putting up new lenses. That might not be for a couple of weeks, as I cannot make ends meet. You know that you're pinching pennies big time when you're being forced to choose which bills to pay first, second, third, etc. I really wish that all the stuff in my ebid store would just sell. It would at least give me some time to get other things going. I hope to eventually make some sort of living [even if it's part time] off my lenses.
It doesn't hurt to hope does it?
I've never had DSL... always on dialup... and I still manage to make lenses. I agree it can be aggravating. I was about to get DSL last month because I got a promotion at work but less than two weeks later I lost my job... so I'm still on dial-up with no hope of upgrading now because the money I've got is going elsewhere.
