I'm looking for whatever excuses I can to work on making lenses instead of doing my work. Forget chocolate. Squidoo is my addiction now. Yikes!
Some upcoming lenses I'm working on:
• My do's and don'ts for Squidoo. I'll try to make it humorous.
• My creative short [more like 17 pages] story lens. That's a little down the road because I want to create graphics to go with it. I'm thinking of a time span of two months that I should have the graphics done for it. I do have other stories I wrote for my colleges classes, but I will have to dig around on the cds to find them.
• A Barbie lens. What has been driving me nuts with this one is that there is no info on this particular doll designer, other than just a name. No history, nothing. I do have several very nice pictures of the doll though. Pictures I found on the net I should say. So I'll have to use what I have to work with and not lament on the lack of history of the designer.
• A movie lens. It might end up being 3 lenses though. That's also a little down the road because some research needs to be done for them.
• I already have a special lens planned for when I get my giant squid badge. It's on the controversial side. I won't say specifically what it is. Other than it's down the road. It could be a couple of months or even 6 months or longer before I earn my giant squid badge.
I have a whole bunch more planned. I might have over 100 lenses by the end of the year if I drink lots of coffee and sleep very little. Having an addiction is not a bad thing. Especially if it makes one money. I can't wait to see how much I've made in one month. I hope I can make a living off of Squidoo lenses. It'll give me an excuse to stay addicted 24-7.
Just checked your first two lenses! You did great job! And you say it's your first? Never would guess! :) Come on and join my group for Fresh Squids! It's featuring newcomers to Squidoo! :)
