This is why I have my guestbooks set to be notified of when someone makes a comment. This was not on my Squidoo lens, but on one of the other Squidoo graphic designer lenses. Here is the screenshot. Be advised of the horrible language used:
I had notified the lensmaster, as I'm sure he wasn't aware of his lens being vandalized. I'm surprised that more lensmasters don't have guestbooks restricted.
I know Squidoo has been cracking down on spammers and scam artists. But now they have to add harassers to the pile too. I know at this time that you can't see the ip number of the comment user. Squidoo needs to change that. Vile verbal words is considered abuse, harassment and even stems on the line of stalking if it's repeated. Abuse needs to be nipped in the bud because if it's not, abuse turns into violence.

That is truly awful!
I now have my guestbook comments moderated as I've recently received a lot of spam from one person (she joined Squidoo so has a profile now) which I've reported to Squidoo. She is also blocked from commenting again on my lenses but I've never received anything as foul as the comment you've featured.
I really don't understand why it's at all necessary :(

Their post doesn't even make a point. What a waste of keyboard strokes. I restricted my guestbooks because of spammers months ago, I hope I got all of them. I'll let non-lensmasters post, but only with approval.

Hmmm.... I like Squidoo. A good thing I don't know him. He'd better remain anonymous.
